DoorDash sucks...

I ordered Panera Bread for delivery at 11:28am - Panera uses DoorDash for their delivery service. I was told my order would be delivered at 12:30, an hour later. I knew it was lunch time, so I expected some wait. I live 10 minutes from the Panera store that I placed my order from. The DoorDash status page told me a delivery person was on the way to the store to pick up my order. I watched on the status page the delivery person pick up my order at 12:00pm and then head the opposite direction than my home. My delivery time adjusted to 27 minutes. I continued to watch the status as the delivery person drove north, further away from my home and the Panera location that the driver picked up my order from. Instead of the DoorDash delivery person delivering the order that is closest to where the pickup is, DoorDash had the delivery person make multiple deliveries before my food. Not only is this bad for your food but also for the environment. Having that driver drive 15 minutes away and then 15 minutes back to where they just were These delivery services need to start thinking on how to make their customers happy instead of their greed and careless actions to make them as much money as possible. Stop assigning multiple deliveries at once - ESPECIALLY for food!!!! NOTE: I did call the Panera customer service phone number to complain and was told by the rep that Panera is not happy with DoorDash either. The rep gave me 2 $15 gift cards that I can use for in store, pickup and/or delivery for the cold food that arrived at my place, after taking a 25 minutes ride around the city. Here is an image to show the location of the Panera store, the location of my home and where the delivery person went AFTER picking up my food from the Panera location on the map and before coming back down to my home's location to deliver my food order from Panera. (Notice that the time says arriving in 21 minutes - thats after the delivery person picked up my food from Panera and then went north.) WTF!?
